Gordon Clovell, a traditional weaver from Yorkshire, has settled down in this wool mill on the Isle of Islay where he makes tartans and tweeds for anyone who wants them. Among his clients have been Mel Gibson of Braveheart fame. He explains about his looms and some ancient machinery for spinning which is practically unique. He also takes us through an old tartan pattern book.
